About Me
¡Hola! I am Silvia, a proud Mexican educator who believes that the best way to learn a language is by living it. My passion is conversation; I love talking about culture, daily life, and the unique nuances of Mexican Spanish. My goal is to create a friendly space where you can practice your Spanish as if you were chatting with a friend in a Mexican café, but with the guidance of a professional.
Teaching Approach
My lessons are 100% conversational and conducted entirely in Spanish. I focus on natural ‘charlas’ (chats) where I help you perfect your pronunciation and understand the true meaning of phrases or words that dictionaries often translate incorrectly. This immersive method forces your brain to stop translating and start thinking in Spanish, accelerating your path to fluency
This way, when you hear someone say, for example, ‘voy a echarme unos tacos,’ you’ll instinctively understand they mean ‘I’m going to go eat some tacos.’

Silvia’s classes are specially designed for students at an A2 level and above. To make the most of her immersive approach, you should ideally:
- Understand basic instructions in Spanish.
- Have a foundation of past and present tenses.
- Be ready for a “No English” environment.
